My passion for photography started when I received a plastic, Fisher Price, camera, on my 7th birthday. From that moment forward, I’ve always had an “eye” for seeing and capturing the present moment around me. Growing up I always knew I was a visual learner, and knowing that became a strength for me. I’ve used photography, all my life, to express myself and pursue my passions.
Over the past ten years, I’ve grown an international wedding and portrait business, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. People often describe my “style” of photography as romantic, classy and elegant. I approach all of my clients with the view of developing a long-term relationship and helping them capture and preserve the most meaningful moments and transitions of their life.
In all of my photo shoots, my goal is to understand the unique personality of the moment or relationship from behind a camera lens. I’m convinced the “art” of photography begins by creating an atmosphere in which the client feels safe enough to express their individuality. My “work” is first of all relational, and then technical. My clients appreciate this emphasis and often remark how much fun they had and how confident they felt to be themselves.
