Leticia + Matthew ~ A winter wedding

Leticia & Matthew are the nicest people and I truly enjoyed getting to know them. Their wedding was beautiful which took place at the Rancho Solano Golf Club in Fairfield, Ca. Though it was winter time luckily there was no rain in sight. The wedding was filled with many traditions which brought so much life to the ceremony and reception. As a photographer I say this all the time who’s been to many weddings; when the bride and groom are having fun so are their guests. This was the case for Leticia & Matthew. Lets just say everyone was partying….:)So great to meet Leticia & Matthew. Wishing you both a life of love and happiness.

Baby Mazyn

Baby Mazyn is the first baby I photographed in which I photographed his parents engagement and wedding. It’s such a great feeling and honor to partake in photographing the beginnings of a relationship and a start of a new family. I have to say he was a trooper in the shoot. Many blessing years to Ramzy, Rachel and Mazyn. God Bless.

Indian Wedding at Boulder Ridge Golf Course

I’ve had the opportunity to second shoot an Indian wedding for my friend Joseph Pascua. I have to say, Indian weddings are quite simply amazing. The deep culture, rich colors and amazing clothing textures makes for endless photo opportunities. Sima, a native Californian, moved to London and met Vikash. Vikash’s family and friends, about 70 people, flew in from London to celebrate their beautiful wedding at the Boulder Ridge Golf Course in San Jose, CA. What I love about Indian weddings is the amount of time between the ceremony and reception. Generally the ceremony takes place late morning or early afternoon and the reception later follows in the evening. This gives photographers more than enough time to complete all the portraits. I had tons of fun. Stay tuned for next weeks’ Indian wedding blog post of Prerna and Amit.

Stinson Beach and Bolinas Fire Dept.

Dear Leticia and Matt,
Congratulations, just 18 more days until the big day. I had a blast photographing your engagement session at Stinson Beach and, a first for me, the firehouse in Bolinas. The firehouse experience is one I won’t forget and kuddos to you for coming up with that idea. I also want to say you both are super cool to work with. If anyone ever tells you different, tell them to come see me.:)THANK you for being you. I’m honored you have chosen me to be your wedding photographer. I’m looking forward to Feb 18. See you soon.

Engagement session at the Park ~ At&t Park that is…..

I have to say this engagement session was one I will never forget. It’s not everyday one gets an opportunity to photograph a couple inside an empty ballpark. A special thanks to my assistant Jamil Halaby for connecting with Joseph Totah to get us access to a private photo session at the AT&T ballpark, home of the San Francisco Giants. We had a blast and it was an amazing experience for all of us. We continued the session at a park in the Oakland hills surrounded by beautiful fall colors. Nicole and Paul are a fun couple who love to laugh and have a sarcastic sense of humor. They make photographing them easy. I look forward to photographing their wedding, this summer, at The Palm Event Center.
